Plan Your Search Strategy
Get better search results by starting with a plan.
After defining your topic and questions, the next step in the research process is to develop a search strategy.
Your search strategy will depend on the type of information source you plan to use:
- For print and electronic sources, identify keywords and concepts within your topic to use as search terms.
- For electronic sources, you also need to know how to combine keywords to build a search string.
Doing this now will make your search more efficient and save time.
