Use My Sources
You have a pile of sources in front of you -- ones that you evaluated and chose as a place to start your research. Now what do you do?
- Review your list of research questions, and choose one question to focus on first. For now, look for information that answers just that question.
- Pick a source from your pile that seems like it will have answers to your research question.
- You do not have to read the entire source.
- Scan the table of contents, index, headings, captions -- or use the find function, to find specific information to answer your question within a source.
- Skim the page/s to find the specific information that may answer your question.
Click on the source to find out how to use it in all its formats (print, online, database). |
