I just heard from Gale tech support that they have resolved the login issue. Plus, a coworker and I each tested several logins from home last night and this morning, and we were able to access Gale in all cases. What I heard through the grapevine is that some information was lost when a Gale server went down, and that caused the problems.
Your access to Gale should be working. Please take time to test it both at school and home.
If you continue to have problems logging in, please report the issue using the Gale support site for Oregon libraries. From the pull-down menu, choose the Miscellaneous or Need Additional Information options, and fill out the contact forms. http://galesupport.com/oregon/
It’s ideal to make all contact with Gale through the support site. That way emails go to the consortium team that knows about the Oregon contract instead of to generic tech support. If you call in a problem, be sure to mention you are part of the Oregon statewide contract.
